    Re: Malware on TBCS?

Could be a rogue ad on the network? I've been in several times this week and see nothing to worry about.

    Re: Malware on TBCS?

Just came in here to see what was up and I get no warnings either. I'm running Avast.

Re: Looking for a Custom Case

That all depends on how much money you're flashing around. A fully customized rig isn't going to be cheap. It takes time. How much of it are you looking to do yourself, if any? Aside from a desk,...

  5. Re: I/O Shield Question (Involving #50/300 VAlve Steam Machine and a 980Ti)

I have no issues with layering formatting. I have Autocad 2012. I actually made a replacement IO shield out of acrylic for my current rig as there wasn't one in the box (open box item from Newegg)....

I've taught Hassan everything he knows. LOL.

I have a laser, 3D printer and CNC at your service. I haven't tried aluminum yet, but that shouldn't hold me back much.

Or you could have one cut on...

    Myspace Browser Redirect??

Is anybody else getting the occasional browser redirect to something with a myspace community URL? Web of Trust keeps blocking it due to suspicious activity, so at least I'm not actually ending up...

    Re: Airbrush painting tips

What are you trying to paint? What type of paint? What size of work? Dual action or single action?

What airbrush is best is rather subjective. I could tell you that a $1200 airbrush is the best......

    Re: Deadbolt Location

I have a deadbolt that I can instantly re-key using my key, a special tool, and a neighbor's key. It's pretty cool. Definitely the giant plate glass window next to the door is the weak link here....

    Re: Report Spam Here

I'm gonna go with spam as well, and send in the orbital crowbar launcher. Subject is now a smoking crater. Thank you for reporting.

    Re: Report Spam Here

Wow. I noticed a few of them. Your list added a few more the orbital crowbar launcher had to target. All targets are now cratered.

    Re: Black USB 3.0 ports

It would be easier than replacing the plastic with something else. You wouldn't even need to disassemble the ports.

    Re: Black USB 3.0 ports

Dye it. Rit Dye should be capable of turning it fully black. Look up instructions via Google.

Re: Need help with code for ardiuno

I'm a total newbie with Arduino, but it sounds like it shouldn't be an issue to write something like that. I'd start with the RPM sensing stuff I posted above and go from there.

Re: Need help with code for ardiuno

A hall effect sensor is a magnetically operated switch. As a magnet passes it, it'll contact. You will get a steady stream of On-Off-On-Off-On-Off. It doesn't change voltage in reality. It changes...

Re: Wanted - custom case for a diy Cintiq,

I have a 25"x25"x5" CNC machine and a 20"x12" laser. I work mainly in acrylic. Do you have a CAD model for your case? Sketchup? I could take a look at it and see what I can do with it.

    Re: Steampunk keyboard

I'd probably start off with some sort of mechanical keyboard. That's what most of the other steampunk keyboards I've seen do, including those made by Jake Von Slatt.

Re: Mountain Mods U2-UFO case review

Yes, but that's not entirely my concern. I also have some nice finishes I can do that minimize fingerprints and dirt buildup.

Any other build/fitment issues you've found with the case?

Re: How much PC is enough?

Go for the Celeron for the wife and put an SSD in it. It'll seem a lot faster than stock, and she should be quite happy with it.

Re: Mountain Mods U2-UFO case review

I'm looking to start designing my own cases out of acrylic. Seeing how these are put together, and where the potential problems are is very helpful to me. Thank you for your insight. Anything else...
