the idea for this basicaly started so as to save space and get rid of the mountain of wires i have everywhere,
plus it gives me a chance to have a go at modding and it'll keep the missus happy :)...

thx Airbozo but im in the UK and i woulda thought it was easy enough to find standard
4 pin molex connectors for cd/dvd drives here,
they probably are and im just rubbish with google
ive been looking to buy some molex connectors and the wire to go with it
so i can make my own custom length molex power leads,
thought they would be easy to find on ebay or google no luck though, ...
its 100 OR 240v i got the 100v from the states i was tying to be a cheapskate :rolleyes:
your right on the auto cut-off though and thats what the problem was,

yeh from asking about by the sounds of it a 110v transformer should work with it,
i got a US/UK air base not far from me and the Americans based there are using 110v transformers for there stuff so...

i did a little reserch first and im sure the wiring was correct, when the correct wiring didnt work i tried alternitives,
putting a travel plug on wouldnt be any good as the transformer...
