don't go with socket 775, it's being phased out
go with lga 1156, 1366, or am3
it may cost a little more, but it's worth it if you want to upgrade your computer down the road

my friend got a better sound card/speakers, so he gave me his xonar, logitech x-240's and cyber acoustics 2.0's, so now i have a cool 6.2 ch setup with the x-240's as the main sub/center, the 2.0's...

well, it was about a decision between having 1 4890 + a 9800 gt for physx and still being able to afford a blu ray drive, or 2 4890's (no blu ray)
i chose the 4890's

and now he's so hungry, he could eat an optarock

why get the q6600 when you can get the phenom 2 955 for the same price?
the 4890 performs the same as the 275
and don't get ddr2, get 4 gb ddr3
