Re: Problem with the top of the case

So I can just drill through the rivets and then use thumb screws on the case with the existing holes?

Problem with the top of the case

I am fixing to start painting my case and I can't get the top of it off. It has pop rivets in it. Any idea how to get that off or should I just tape off everything else and continue painting.

    Re: 1st Mod Project

Jigsaw works great on cutting cases. Especially one with straight lines. Just make sure the blade is for cutting metal. The higher the TPI (teeth per inch) the better. WEAR GOGGLES.

    Re: Cutting the case

Then there is the other side where if I didn't get to hear what my wife says I wouldn't be able to be modding right now. I would still be caught up in drugs and no money. I'll protect the ears.

    Re: Skull cut out

I think it looks pretty sweet. I wouldn't think that the lines need to be bigger if you have that plexiglass behind. Wouldn't that be enough support?

    Re: Building Materials

I guess that I just need to try the jigsaw. It is just that I have never cut "metal" with anything besides a torch. Hard to believe that it can be done with relative ease.
