They wanna be, there a whole truck load of cash more than the dual core Intel's.

Technically they are quite a lot slower clock speed than the Intels, but thats never stopped AMD's from been quicker.

Toms Hardware has a few reviews.....

Basically they say that if your running multiple apps the Intels are better, but for single apps the AMD's are better.
