Default Microfly Powerful but very mobile

Updated: Had to remove one dvd burner on bottom. 24 PIN was pushing drive out. Soon ill be adding sound card and Video, and adding more fan spots, still using google sketch to design water cooled microfly.

    Components:

    Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 Conroe Dual-Core, 3.0GHz 1333MHz
Asus P5K-VM Intel G33 Core 2 Duo 1333MHz FSB, Coolermaster Northbridge cooler, active
    4x 1GB Kingston KVR800D2N5/1G 1GB PC2-6400 DDR2-800 CL5, Nexus heat spreaders

    2 x Seagate 500GB Barracuda 7200.10 SATA II 7200RPM 16MB
    1 x Sony AWQ170A-B2 18x6x18x Burners
    EVGA Nividia 8800 Ultra 768mb
    Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer 7.1 Channels 24-bit 96KHz

Silverstone Strider 750w Modular Power Supply

    Case:
    Ultra Microfly Black w/ windows

    Input Devices:
    Logitec Wireless Mouse and Keyboard

    Output:
    HP 1440 x 900 W1907 19 "WideScreen
    Logetic X-540 5.1 Surround Sound

Cooling: Ambient is approximately 32C-35C, CPU 50 Idle, 55-60C Load (converting videos) Very unhappy with temp, hope water cooling can drop it, specially since I am getting GFX card still which well block airflow and create more heat, came home today and was no a/c on at temp was way crazy 65 C to close for comfort, ambient was about 45c.

    Intel Stock Heatsink, Sucks
120mm Aero cool Xtreme Turbine about 89 CFM
80mm Blue UV Sensitive 80mm Ball Bearing Fan

Going to be fun trying to get watercooling for the CPU, NB, GPU, and RAM done in there. Instead of using a 80mm radiator on the back why not just use a 120? would provide better cooling and more room (not much but some).

    And welcome to TBCS

    Which Ship?

Looking forward to seeing everything get crammed in there.

When I went to the Gulf in 92, I took a full sized mid-tower and monitor with me. Managed to hide it all into the angle iron above my bunk so it couldnt be seen from the floor.

No room, power suply and chassis would be in the way, the spot is exactly room enough for 120mm....

    Killdrath Which Ship?

4.5 years on the Chuck Pig, er, I mean, Carl Vinson. A 6000-man, 90,000 ton floating death trap.

Especially since my work space was 30 foot below water line, and my abandon stations location was at the bottom of the ship, going down with it while smashing/destroying all the classified material.

So im going to make a case, with all this mod stuff on forums i got excited, im going to use microfly concept, but with my own taste..... Plus the microfly has poor intake and i got to 68 C while using nero to vid processs, with panels! thats way to hot, my ambient was 20c, a/c full blast.... check heatsink is on right, opened panels and increase flow air cpu temp drops down to 40c ish......

Best materials for case construction? Anyone use acrylics case panels and modified it for personal use? i would like to do that, except base.

Metal (type) or wood, or acrylics....?

Also thanks sgtm i am making my case using google sketch , ****ing rocks, i want to pay because its bext cad type software ive ever used, i prolly well apply it to use for ship maintanance layouts, instead of CADstd.
