    Default Alarm Clock Radio Mod

So after the speaker on my clock radio died this morning, I thought I might as well change the display colour while I was in there.
After far too much time, tracing wires and figuring out why replacing LED for LED wasn't working I finally got everything sorted out. And the display went from a pale green to a pale blue. Please note that the pictures look a lot more vibrant than they appear in action.

    The original look:

It's been taken apart, a mildly annoying process.

    And the final look:

Nothing big, but it was fun and it looks a hell of a lot better. And as it starts to get darker, the blue is much more intense. I'll take a night shot and add it in later.
    Peace, love and Anarchy!

the Green wasn't bad, but after having the clock for 3 years it was boring. And since the only colour I had to work with was blue thats what I have. I love it, but will probably change it sometime soon when I get other colours in 3mm or 5mm LEDS.
