    Default Messed up flash drive

A while back i was trying to transfer some files to my 2gb flash drive when all of a sudden my computer restarted. When i logged back into windows i went to the flash drive and looked at a few of the files and there were a bunch of weird characters where it should say normal words. One folder was renamed Y²╛∙U5ä.mht. There wasn't anything important on here, i just want it all off. when i hit delete, it says it can't read it from the source file or disk. any help? also, when i right click and hit properties, it says it has 104gb worth of files, which is absurd as it is only a 2gb flash drive. I just want to get these files off of here. Any ideas?

When your computer rebooted it corrupted your flash drive.
The only utility I could find to fix this is USB Data Doctor Recovery

wow thanks for the fast reply but i broke the golden rule of problem posting: i didn't google it first. with a little searching i figured out all i needed to do was a chkdsk /F on the drive. thanks anyway for the help.
