    I swear, the last 7 issues of PC Magazine have been put out just to rant and rave about Linux. They've had a few 10 page articles about how Linux is so easy to use, and why people should use it. If you've got a an hour and a spare PC collecting dust, put Linux on it.

    I actually read through that whole article the other day. Interesting read and he brings up important points about the average user being able to do stuff.

    For the most part, Linux isn't as hard as everyone makes it out to be. When you get into the commands it can be a bit hairy, but it's nothing anyone with computer knowledge can't do. The move I made from Windows to Linux was probably the best thing I could do to gain computer knowledge. I had to learn about networking, different types of compatibility, all sorts of stuff. And, I also learn about hard drives, how the work, and how drivers work. Good stuff.
