    Default Grabit Screw Remover!

Lol found this little tidbit on my bros laptop in his favorites: Grabit Remover. Apparently, if you damage a screw, strip it or remove the head entirely, it'll remove it in 10 seconds or less. Looks interesting and I might buy it since its only 19.99. Think of all the usefulness!

Edit: I think you might need a drill to run this, but we all have drills right? Anyways, I found it on Amazon.com, my fav site for buying things: linkyyyy

That looks nice. And if you don't have a drill, who here doesn't have a Dremel?

    Okay, I confess, I don't have a Dremel, but I have a drill!

I just bought the 4 piece grabit kit to remove a small screw from the sight on one of my rifles--worked great.

One "bit" of advice I can give that I learned--if the bit doesnt seem to be working on removing the screw, go a size up.

and yeah...you need a variable speed reversing drill.

I bought a set of these last year from Craftsman (Sears). -I haven't used them yet but it was a 6 piece set. they also make them for rounded bolt heads as well.

+rep for the recommendation! I used these last year when I stripped out a screw head in my car stereo. Worked amazingly well.

my dad got a set of two from mastercraft and they sucked IMO. i tried drilling with the drill end and it didn't really do much. i would sooner grab the dremel and turn it into a slotted head.

i have seen these work and would pick up a set, but it's to much for the amount of times i would use it. also there more for bolts than screws.

I just used a normal drill bit, put the drill into reverse, and it came out in a few seconds. But the thing is i didn't want it to, I just wanted to hide the screw
