XP vs Vista

Which would you choose?

I have used xp a lot.. at the beginning I had to dual boot with win me, because of the software issues xp had... same goes with vista. So, for the time being, I have to chose xp for myself and recommend others, depending on what they want, either xp - mature os, works 99% of cases, or vista.. vista will get better and so will all the stuff related to it I hope.. so, next time another similar poll comes up, I hope I'm gonna be voting vista.

I had to vote Vista, just based on the fact that XP is being phased out, and Vista is starting to shine.

Yeah vista is really starting to be a solid OS. Thats what I vote vista. I just can't wait until SP1, then there will be all kinds of performance improvements.

I have to admit I HATED vista 100% when it came out. Slowly its becoming more and more stable and user friendly.

I still find it somewhat confusing compared to xp. but my vote goes for vista.

When SP1 comes out for Vista, then I may look into upgrading, but we shall see.

My dad's got a Vista capable Laptop, i told him to switch soon if he wants to play some decent games...he...hates...vista...

I would have to vote XP right now. I'm waiting till SP1 comes out, and even then I will wait to see if it really makes any difference. -My computer works fine right now so there is no need to upgrade right away. -In the future yes, but not right now.

RIght now i am dual booting xp and vista ultimate. I really like vista but I cant really game in in as I had memory burn out in it and only have 1 gig now. I get frame rate chug when i trya dn game in it. I game in xp and everything is cool. But my vote has to got with vista
