Crysis specs revealed!

I had crysis crash on my rig as well.... bug maybe? I was trying to load a saved checkpoint.

I think it is a bug as well. When I get to the second village area near the water, everything slows down and starts going nuts. Ive done a re-install but I think it has to do with something in the sky that isnt supposed to be there lol. It looks like the exhaust from a boat. Maybe I can get a screen shot of it.

Thats interesting. I got thsi crap and then it froze after 20 seconds or so.

Oh Burn lol. That's what my 6600GT used to do to STALKER. The only temporary fix I found for it was upgrading the heatsink to a Zalman copper one and then overclocking the hell out of it. Now I have a 8800GTX and have no problems.

When you're heading there a GPS scrambler messes with your HUD and it goes fuzzy for a few seconds, lol. THAT's what that mess is.

EDIT: But yeah... that doesn't look like it's supposed to do that... hmm... try it on lower settings or something like that, tweak them around and see what happens.

The new drivers I downloaded that are supposed to "optimize" crysis is what is causing the problems. I went back a few and it work much much much much better now.... I can actually play it MED/High @ 1440X900 with my 7800gt's in sli. Oh well, doesn't matter, I just ordered my 8800gt from Newegg 10mins ago. I canceled the one from zipzoomfly because I have never liked them. I canceled it yesterday (hadnt shipped) and they still havent put my credit back on the card. bastards....... NEWEGG FTW.

Anyways, Ill let everyone know how it goes with the 8800gt when I get it.

All DX10, some High some Very High

Image '1' - DX10 VERY HIGH - 16 AA (Thats why the FPS sucks )

All others 2AA or None

Even though the FPS don't seem very playable in some (i did do some just for screen shots) the game played pretty good, also i think the frame rate drops 1-2 frames with it taking screen shots.
