    Default clocking strategies

    i'm kinda new to overclocking/modding, i have a athlon 64 4000, whats the best way to determine its clock speed?

    im no expert but ive overclocked two computers with lil knowledge. Do you mean like the overall speed after the multiplier or do you mean whats being multiplied. I do not kno core speed clock speed etc i dont kno the lingo. But anyways you can check wahts being multiplied in the bios or i believe theres a program called cpuz that you can do it while leaving your computer on. To get to the bios restart your computer and continually press delete, certain computers might be diff but the ones ive had is delete. Ummmm then you will have to search around till you find what you're looking for might be in advanced bios or something.

    But it hink your best bet is to go look for CPUz i see it on all the oc forums

    hey i got cpuz and it works great, but is there a way to log/graph core speed, to get min/max values?
