TalkTalk Connection Trouble

I got an xbox 360 a couple of days ago and subscribed to live, but every 10 minutes or so the modem/router I'm using disconnects then reconnects, meaning whatever game I'm playin has to end and i have to sign in to xbox live again.
I'll admint that I'm not using the best modem/router in the world, it's the one what came with TalkTalk (Huawei MT882), and I never used the installation disc, so if anyone knows how I can fix it, or even has the installation disc to send to me as an ISO or something to see if it would help fix the problem, it would be great. Thanks.

Does that router have WIFI built in? If so, are you using it? If you arent using wifi, try to disable it, and see if that helps.

I think I've sorted it now

The firewall had a Blacklist refresh or something set to 10 minutes, so ive just upped it to 1000

Not much disconnecting now (hopefully)

Oh no, yet more trouble.

I decided to use the ethernet connection for the XBoX and the USB conenction for the PC, but guess what... I don't have the drivers and those which I found I have to pay for

If anyone has a TalkTalk connect and go CD for a Smart AX MT882 modem let me know

could you not just get a switch and split the ethernet?
