Anything better than 8800GTX coming out?

Wait! Stop all proceedings in this thread!

The new 8800GTS 512MB will be coming out December 3rd for $300-$325. It is expected to beat the 8800GTX by a decent amount. Heres the article (with pictures).

If I were you, I'd go with that card.

Hmm thought it was coming out soon. One ugly thing though lol, should have kept the old cooler. I still like my GTX though, one my mod is done I will try to OC it.

Indybird, that is what I am waiting for. I have been waiting for it, and I really hope that it does beat out the 8800GTX. We will see on december 3rd what card will be going in my new uber rig

If it does beat the GTX then the price should drop on the GTX. Then I will get another GTX and a 800-1000W PSU and run them in SLI.

I can't find the article right now, but it said somewhere that that will be the final design for the cooler. It would even be that bad if the fan didn't have that weird angle.

OMG with all the new cards Nvidia is releasing, I'll never get a new card. First I was going for the old GTS, now it's the GT I want, but apparently Dec. 3 I'll be wanting a NEW GTS. Greeeeaaaat.

It is final. I WILL get a new GTS when they come out. If it beats the GT, then that's all I care about. I will finally get my stupid computer finished how I want it (without a decent monitor, but that's next).

The new GTS should beat the GT, it will give the ULTRA a run for its money at resolutions under 1600x1200.
