You can resize it in photoshop before saving it. So you could have saved the real copy, and a smaller copy for TBCS.

I know i tried but for some reason the chrome text got messed up, like the stroke around it turned from one pixel to like 30 pixels. Only thing wierd was nothing else screwed up.

I know it's a bit late now because you've already done it, but you can do this next time.

Save it as a .jpeg first. That'll compress it into one flat image. Then resize it. That way the layer blending options like stroke won't change at all, because it's already a flat image.
