According to the crysis results from the tweaktown review, the 8800GTX beat the 512 8800GTS.... by only a little. Then you realise that the 8800GTX is actually factory overclocked

Yes but they didnt test the 8800gts on dx10 mode... Unless this card doesnt support Dx10?

so then i guess to see real results they need tto be on the same system, each using eather dx10 or dx9

We will need to wait for the soft launch and some retailers get it and test it under official environments before we can know how well these will perform.

A friend of mine owns a store who is very tight with a certain company who got some 8800GTS 512, and he said that they were sub par (to the GTX) when said company brought them into the shop to run benches. I really hope he is wrong.

I sadi MY GTX, which isn't overclocked its at stock, i get better frames.

At first I didn't like that strangely angled fan, but its starting to grow on me...
