Keyboard and mouse suggestions

I have been surfing through the review and manufacturers websites for the keyboards and mice you great people are using. But I wanted to know what the highest suggestion is for a gaming mouse, preferably wireless because my wired one get caught on everything. And I dont need a wireless keyboard buit if you think the wireless one is better I want to know. I have an MX400 but it doesn't work well with my laptop. When you push the scroll wheel button it doesnt react like it does on my cheap mouse and that makes it impossible to sketch with. So I can use that as my test mouse when I build rigs or surf, but I need something better. What do you think?

I have not seen a wireless setup yet that did not have connection problems at the worst possible moment (like when you hear someone behind you and try to turn around only to find you either lost communication or the battery died).

I know a few people here use a wireless setup, but not me. Too unreliable.
