    Default New Build

What does anybody think of this build? I am buying it with my Christmas money. I think the ram might be a bit of over kill all though the timings are tighter then the usual 5-5-5-18. Also could I save some money and just get a Gigabyte - GA-P35-DS3 instead of the DS3R?

    Thanks

    Edit: I have decided to go for 2x Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C5DHX XTREME MEMORY SPEED 2GB (2x XMS2 1GB) PC-6400 (800MHz) DDR2 RAM, 2x240-pin DIMMs, Non ECC Unbuffered, 5-5-5-18

The GA-P35-DS3 doesn't have a RAID function on the 4 SATAII ports.

If you've got the money, I'd say go for it. If you don't want SLI, it's a pretty good choice.

Yeah I don't think the gains are worth the price of a more expensive mobo and another 8800gt.

    Thanks folks. +rep
