    Default Source SDK base crash

Well, I wanted to start playing Insurgency again, so I downloaded and installed the latest version. It couldn't launch at all, it instantly crashed. I tried launching Source SDK base to see what would happen, and it gave the same error. Now I just tried launching Portal, and the exact same thing happens. Half Life 2 works just fine though.

Here's a screenshot of the error

try reinstalling your dx9, then try deleting the local content for the sdk base and redownload it.

Should I try uninstaling Directx before reinstalling it? If so, I'm not sure how to. I should make sure I do DirectX 9 too, since I'm on Vista with Directx 10.

Are you running 64 bit or 32?

Alright, change the launch properties of the games that are causing you trouble, to launch as 32-bit. If you dont know how to do this, ill explain.
