Never heard of Chiphell before. I don't translate any of that i stole it from another forum. =p

But if it's to be true. Holy mother ****ing ****! That's a beast! 2GB of GDDR5 at 3.2GHz!! Thats almost as fast as my damn CPU. 256 shaders :o 65nm core at 780MHz!

If these are the true specs, it really will be twice that of a 8800GTX.

Just think, Crysis might be playable, well with 2 f'ing GB it best be, not that ill be buying one of these, my dad might kill me.

Yeah and twice expensive. Considering the 9800GTX will be set out like the 7950GX2 this may be possible. Somehow I don't think these are the correct specs. DDR5 RAM would make them extremely expensive to manufacture. I would say this would sell (on release...if ever made) for about $2500AUD plus. The 8800GTX sold for around $1400AUD (I got mine for $860AUD ) on release. In this industry anything is possible.

I would think Nvidia would only release something this powerful if they feel threatened. At the moment there is no threat to their empire from AMD.

All that said, if it was even brought into mass production this thing would be stupidly fast. It would be like running a tri SLI Ultra system and then some on a single card.

Yea if you look back they went from what 512MB to 768MB from 7900-8800GTX so going from 768-2048 is a big jump. Id reckon we will probably see 1GB on it. The specs above do seem something that would be on a Quadro card.

But hell this is Nvidia, think of these babies in Tri-SLi. 6GB of Memory :o

I think the 256 Shaders is very likely, 512-bit bus and 780MHz core are about right for a high-end card, it's just the 2GB of GDDR5 that seems unlikely.

I think they won't go any higher than 1GB of RAM on the card. the 8800GT has 1GB versions so I think they will stay with that for the time being.

I will gladly sell both of my legs and my right eyebrow for one of those cards.

Could you imagine what Crysis would look like with 2 of those in SLI?
    Wow...
I bet the card will cost about $1500 or more.

I would estimate that the card would release somewhere around 600 dollars. Any higher, and I don't think anyone in their right mind would buy it.

Remember, the Ultra is around 600 now, and you see very few of them around. The real money is in the 300 dollar area, so don't expect much more than 600 dollars.

I don't expect a card of this caliber to be made for a few more years. It would suck down the juice lol.

Something screams wrong to me.... doesn't a 512-bit bus for the RAM for a top end card sound wrong? Also 2GB on a card? Doesn't sound right....

Exactly what I have been thinking the whole time lol. It's basically a small computer let alone a graphics card lol.
