Very cool. Although its all been discussed in some form or fashion, these Videos are GREAT! They really bring painting to a realistic level, and relieve the unknown!

Thanks again for creating them! Its really cool to see some one that really is passionate about something and then is willing to share it with others.

    Keep up the great work!

Hey Commando, I'm having trouble keeping dust and lint out of my clearcoat. It seems to settle on it as it's drying. I've tried covering it with a cardbaord box but it still happens. It's nothing too big, just some really small particles. Will these come out with some light sanding after all the coats of clear or should I get rid of them now? Also do you know a way to keep this from happening? Thanks, and I'll have my mod up soon to share.

A couple things that I have found to work..
-Find a new area to paint. Maybe you're painting in the wrong location.
-See what you can do about cleaning up a little bit. Maybe just take the shop vac over everything in the area real quick.
    - Use a large tarp and other plastic coverings to isolate your painting area, creating a painting booth of sorts.

If these options aren't really viable for you, you can always sand out the dust and lay down another coat of clear. Eventually, you'll get a good coat that you can then buff out and wax to a mirror shine.

Someone else posted this helpful tip. It might have been Defiant, but I'm not sure.

Before you start painting get a spray bottle full of water and just spray the air around where you will be painting. It will get all the the particles flying in the air out.
