    Default It's DEAD

I think my power supply is dead cause i had my pc booting up off a powerpoint when the powerpoint got overloaded and cut out. now wont start.i know that the problem is not the power lead cause i tried it with another pc. the power isn't getting to the motherboard cause it has a light that goes on when it is getting power. i think it is either the motherboard( ASUS A8V) or the power supply(OCZ Powerstream 520). can any body help?

A simple way to test if its the motherboard would be to connect another power supply to it.

As to see if the PSU is dead when you press the button if its gettin power the fan would spin.
