Re: Project: unit 4
another update
this groove is for a wire, so i can hock those steel support wires in, just like in the real build
mounted the cd cover(which needs some new tiles
and the old hdd cage is mounted (need some kitbash)
quick inside overview
and the pushbutton terminal is mounted also
time to mill
action shot :O
and the finished part
this should be some kind of mega fuse construction, one of em is broken
led wire channel was milled
this is how it should look like, except the cap of the real fuse wont be visible in the finished part
_some_ wires
..and a happy new year

Re: Project: unit 4
i have no invitation yet, but i know the registration is soon
the PSU FITS!(what a pain it was )
psuhbutton size increasing things (oO) made outta foam
and now HOW TO GET COOL BULLET HOLES IN MESH
first, measure the size of the entire mesh part you need
then, cut out and mark the parts youll see later, then draw on the holes
right after that youll take something round, eg a roundfile, position it above a hole and do the dew
finally take a drillbit or something ells to increase the size of the holes
should look like this now
and back in
and the finish with a cool handlebar
this _was_ my final exam project for school, a slot machine
now, rip apart the circuit and the leds
shaky? yes.
anyways, got some sweet cable and 16 ultrabright yellow leds and some solderboard
here i tested the leds for the chimney, running 4 in a row with a 470 ohm resistor @ 12V (gotta drop the resistor somewhen)
some faking, the shutterspeed was bout a second
comments?^^
