    thanks a lot guys!!!

@The boy 4rm oz yeah i really love this theme too.... i think it will look great when its finished....

in the last 2 days we were busy with sanding/bondo/sanding/painting/sanding/painting the front part...so that it will be finished soon.....

beside that we put the next LED elements testwise in place to see if they are going to disturb us in any way....but they didnīt do...so they can stay....

then we screwed the first servo to the backplate to finger out how we will connect the servo to the sidepanel holding arms....

    thanks!!

in the last days we started to build a CPU Cooler....therefore we took 3 copper plates (from old cpu coolers) which we overworked....the first plate was prepared to hold the water plugs....the second plate only gets a cutout so that it can be placed in the middle....and the 3rd plate was milled with a grid where the water should flow through.....

then we cut out some heat pipes out of an old coolermaster hyper 6 cooler which we will integrate into our cpu cooler...

beside that we spent some time on the outer parts....therefor we cutout a lot plastic parts, which we use to build the covers for the radiators and fans....

    thanks a lot!!!!!:thumb:

yesterday we had to overwork the cover for the upper sidepanel, because it hadnīt the right measurements....so we rebuild a slim version and changed the design for the faceplates.....

then we also integrate the hole for the water reservoir

and made some progress on the CPU Cooler

hopefully the cooler will be done today.....

    :thumb:thanks a lot !!!!:clap::clap::clap:

today we made some progress on the cooler...itīs nearly finished now....i think tomorrow weīre going for a first test run with a QX6700 to see how it performs...

after we attached the last copper plate we sanded the complete copper part and then we connected the heatpipes to it.....

after that we made a first test run with water to see if there are no leaks....needless to say that everything is fine and dry :thumb:

i just weighed the cooler and it weighs 439 gramms with the heatpipes but without water...

soo today we made the first test run with a cpu under our cooler.....

and it was a good run:jawdrop::thumb:

first we tested how hot our cpu (intel qx6700) gets with our old cooler....after a few hours of vista + surfing the net we got a temps around 38-39°....room temp around 27°...then we played 1 hour race driver grid to warm it up....after that we got temps around 47-48°....

then we shut down everything and switched the cooler for our new one.....then we wait a little bit to give the water the chance to cool down...after the cooldown phase we power up the system ....then we checked the temps...30-31°...but the room temp has also gone done to 25°....so we run another hour of race driver grid and made the last temp check.....36-37°........i think for a first run itīs a really good result!!!
