    Hi all,
    Have built a few computers in my time, but the latest one has me foxed.
    The front sound connections do not make sense. I have on the m/board:-

    mic2_L, mic2_R, out2_R, J_sense, out2_L, gnd, presence#, mic_ret, out_ret

    The leads from the panel are:- return R, spkout L, return L, spkout R, mic in,
    ground, mic bias.

    Can anyone help?

    return R, , return L, mic in, mic bias.

    gnd = ground

    mic2_L =
    mic2_R =
    mic_ret = (might just be another ground)

    out2_R = spkout R
    out2_L = spkout L
    out_ret = (might just be another ground)

    J_sense =
    presence# =

    That's all I've got. I would do some google-fu, but I've got to write right now.

    Hi!

    I love reading through work logs and getting ideas. I have a bunch of them myself, but I wish I had the ability to make them a reality. Thanks for making this forum and for having me.

    Hi all

    I've been thinking of doing my first scratch build for some time but kinda need to pull my finger out now as I've got a lot of work being done on my flat in a few months, so I need to get my PC off the bench and into a case before then so I can move it and I really don't want to spend £100 on a case that isn't even what I want (I'm limited in cases I can buy anyway, due to the size of my Antec CP-850 PSU).

    Anyway, love the pun in the sitename, which was one of the things that drew me to this site I'll post my ideas in the rookies section and ask for advice there.
