Nothing much has come of the merger of Dell and Alienware back in 2006.
Alienware is known for its premium quality computer systems for the Elite gamers/users since its creation.
Dell has been known to pump out computers faster than Toyota does with cars.
Dell, before the Alienware merger, had come up with their gaming solution in their product lines. Dubbed as the "XPS" series, they were to be known as Gaming Machines.
Aquiring Alienware and keeping the XPS line however seems a bit silly. It almost creates a double identity...
