In the USA, the Fosters that we get is actually brewed in Canada under contract. And due to a technicality, it is considered to be an 'import'.

A one dimensional, uninspiring, bland tasting, makes Budweiser look like nectar of the gods import. Blech.

Since you asked Simon275, I usually go with a Carlton Mid, Tooheys New or sometimes a XXXX with ginger beer. I don't mind the Becks either, but thats not a usual tipple of mine.

And Ichbin, beer is just called beer in Australia, though really cheap and nasty stuff (like Fosters) is often called 'piss' (pardon the language).

Also, any Aussies here had any experience with Little Creatures? I have a mate from WA where its brewed who swears by it.

Guiness or Harp Lager are by far the best I have ever had, of course having Irish heritage may have something to do with having a taste for darker beverages. Although I will almost always have coors light in the fridge. There is a local out of the way place that has Guiness on tap. I also have had a lot of local microbrews and red stripe. I love local brewers they seem to put more in there beverages.
Regedit'ed, Rooted, and Jailbroke anymore questions?
Here’s a bumper sticker I’d like to see: “We are the proud parents of a child who’s self-esteem is sufficient that he doesn’t need us promoting his minor scholastic achievements on the back of our car.”

I always giggle a little when I hear about anyone drinking Coors. I grew up not far from the brewery in Golden Colorado and my friends and I used to swim in the river above where they pull their water from. Or should I say Priver... (remember the ool joke as a kid?)

We called it Rockey Mountain Piss Water for a reason...

That said, I used to always go on the brewery tours there when I got to leagl age. They used to give you a mug when you showed up and you could taste different beers as you walked through the plant. Not sure if they do that anymore.

That remind's me of Olympia's slogan: It's the water.
