suggestions?

any suggestions as to good games similar to "Age of Empires II"? I've been playing it for far too long now that it's getting kind of boring. I've tried demos of newer Age of Empires and Age of wonders but i don't like how they've gone more 3D looking...

If you don't like the 3d, try the first age of empires. Do you have the conquers expansion for 2 yet? I have all of the AoE games and age of mythology. AoE II with the expansion is probably my favorite. There is also empire earth, but that is 3d. What's nice about that is that you can adjust the speed of the game. In empire earth, you can chose from campaigns from all time periods, pretty much.

I really like this game its called medival lords try the demo I think it pretty cheap as well.

What about the Total War series?

You've got a choice from Shogun, Rome,Medieval and Medieval 2 or buy nearly all of them in the Total War Eras.
