I've seen 2 computers with Vista 64 bit with one that has 4 gigs and another with 6 gigs of RAM. Both computers have the same Windows Experience Index score of 5.7 on RAM. So is there still a point where more RAM means nothing?

More than four gigs may mean nothing to the Windows Experience Index score, but when running many programs, especially in vista, it will make a big difference. My best guess would be that anything more than four gigs doesn't count towards the score, or something stupid like that.
The RAM index more relates to the bandwidth, not the size.
Windows Experience Index . . what a Racket.
Good for one thing "telling you what you have is not good enough".
When I installed my extra 2GB (bringing it to 4) it gave me the same score of 5.5. After a week or so I tried it again and took my score up to 5.9, the same as my CPU and GPU. My HDD is holding everything back at 5.4 lol.

Mine is at 5.0 because I can't OC my CPU at all, lol... I could probably get it to like 5.5 or something.
And by the way, with Vista 32bit, it only sees 3.5GB with mine, does it need to be 64bit to see more?

Yes, to see over 3.5GB, you need a 64-bit OS.
Alright, thanks. There was something going around saying you just need to upgrade to Vista to get more than 3.5GB but guess that's wrong, lol.

In my experience, disabling virtual memory will let it see the full 4gb.

Where do I find that setting in Vista? I've looked but they seem to have hidden everything, lol.
