And on to the next update

well I got some more bolts to do this project

so I fixed the angle pieces to the pump/res module

I then picked up where I left off on friday, the dvd supports,

I marked out the black pieces

    Then all cut

    Filing one

    Sanded

    And polished

And then this is how it will be supporting the dvd drive,

    And the second one done

Thats it for today a little bit more tomorrow.

If you want a really high gloss finish on the plexi edges after you wet sand and buff run a lighter flame along the edge, you will get an awesome high gloss finish. Practice on a scrap piece first, you don't want to burn the plexi.

Yeah I could tell from your pics that you put a lot of effort into your polishing. Just saying the flame polishing is a good thing to try. It is a whole different level of shine.

    Hey there again guys

    on with the next update!!!

This morning i went out to my local screwfix and picked up some safety goggles and a mask so that i dont keep getting bits of acrylic and metal landing in my eye and mouth....

i then got the third support for the dvd drive done

    and then the fourth

this is pretty much how it will look just with the dvd housing raised a bit

and that is unfortunately all we have time for.
