    My soldering skills = fail

Got the last filling on the res holder done

    My workplace lol…

    And cleaned

And as usual I messed it up after 30 mins;P

    Got all the wholes drilled

And got the things drilled away that made the raddy a very tight fit… fits better now

    Looks good

The dvd cover plate a damn nice fit!

Its hold in place by these 2 rivets in the one side

The cables from the Leds. Don’t look that bad

And got some holes drilled and tapped for the cover plate.

    And some more spacers

To the cover plate hose entrance

And light! Got it all rigged most of it

Only one led in the res´s atm and still lights up pretty good

Placed one of the 10 cm led strips beside the fans

    And looks quite good

I almost cant wait to get the last things drilled in place. Since I got my worktable cleaned everything has been a lot easier

Probertly wont get my laser stuff before Monday since there is some problems with the engraving

Those plates look fantastic installed my friend. When you are soldering make sure the solder is touching what is getting soldered before you heat it up. I have found that this way works best because the solder instantly washes over the solder point, ideal for cables and such.

agreed, great work so far! As for the soldering, I'm no expert but it looks to me like the contact surface might not have been hot enough. The way my Dad taught me was to hold the iron against the surface and make a bead of molten solder to rest on the surface of the iron just next to the contacts. Then, when the temp is just high enough, the contacts will "suck up" the solder and form perfectly.
