    Default Unfolding a Sketchup Model

Imagine being able to draw a mod component to scale in Sketch-up and then print it unfolded to build a paper model. In other words, insert tab a into slot b to build a 3D paper model of your Sketch-up model.

Its been in beta awhile but supposed to be released next month (August). I've got great hopes its as cool as it looks. I've tried Pepakura Designer and the Unfold plug-in. Both of which produce unpredictable results for complex objects.

Now that is useful. you could draw to scale print then stick to cardboard or poster board or something else and build a computer and see where and how everything fits. +rep for the find.

I found something similar. No exactly custom 3D paper models but neat no the less.
You can download and print free samples. Link

Good Info. I would consider making a prefab model myself.
    Would suggest card stock.
