first off i know what the x16 slots are for but what about the x4 and x1 slots??

4x could be compared to agp 2x or sumthing like that. It gives lower bandwidth and kinda sucks. But pcie 1x is going to be he new normal pci, for expansion caards like ethernet and right now have nothing to do with graphics cards
