    Default My "stock" new system...

Here are a few pics of my new system. I just built this about a month ago, and I love it!!! The main reason I built this thing is so I can play Doom 3, and other new games, of course! I have already beaten D3, BTW.

I will have some inside shots next time I pull it out of that P.O.S. desk and do somthing to it. I HATE that desk... I want to take it outside and burn it!!! I plan on getting me a new desk that shows off my case better soon.

    Here are some detailed specs:

Yeah, that desk looks a smidge painful. And holy pipefitting christ that desk is neat and organized...

    Fancy box, though. *thumbs up*

I hate those kinds of desks - super uncomfortable. It's like the manufacturer was like, "Hey, I've got it! Put a pull-out shelf on that bookshelf over there! Voila - instant computer desk!"

But seriously - what's the deal with your desk?!? No empty Mountain Dew cans littered everywhere, no precarious stack of game discs and CD-Rs, no giant pile of tiny scraps of paper with BF2 server IP addresses, not even a extra 28k-baud modem buried under the desk from your first computer you upgraded to 48.8k and then keep forgetting to "get around" to putting the old one away.

Are you trying to make us look bad, man? Seriously, scruff the place up a bit next time you're taking pictures! Our wives/girlfriends could see those! Do you know what could happen if they found out computer desks can be organized?!? CHAOS!

That's not a bad case. It lights up nice. The piece on the front - is that actually aluminum, or just plastic painted to look like metal?

Personally, I've never been much of a fan of that style case. The rib things on the bottom of the front always looked like they were trying to copy the Alienware cases, and the thing on the front just seems... um... mid-90's tribal tattoo? Nothing against it, of course. It's just not my style, I guess.

You've got a pretty powerful system going there, though. Looks like it could play some serious games. Right on.

OOPS!! This is my personal Multimedia and gaming system, therefore, I like hardly ever get to use it! If I used it more, belive me there would be a mountain of pepsi cans, a stack of DVD+R's, CD-R's, games, and a pile of trash somewhere behind the desk.

Now, my desk at my shop, that thing looks like a tornado hit it, and never left! I am always working and almost never have time to play, but when I do, I sure do enjoy using this system.

It is real Brushed Aluminum. That is one of the things that sold me on this case.

    Keep the comments comming!

    Good Setup for your comp...

I am just going to let you know that with the games that are
being released these days, you might want to give your sys
some steriods and beef up that VC, and RAM...

Other than that you have a pwnage setup!

    A peek into my sys...

    DFI nF3 Ultra-D
    AMD 64 3700+ San Diego
    DD Custom Water Cooling
2x512mb GeIL One Series TCCD PC4700
    eVGA 256 6800 Ultra
    Audigy2 ZS
    On Board Lan
    2x WD 80gb SATA in RAID 0
Antec 550w Server Class Power Supply- 34a 12v rail

The components are currently moving into my Case Mod, but will be up and going
in 8 days! That is the Deadline for the Case Mod Competition that I am enrolled in!
