Hot damn, that's cool! Really looking forward to seeing this one come along... Cute little guy, isn't he?

I noticed once that old circuit boards looked cool with light shining through 'em, but never thought to apply that. +rep, because that's just badass.

Gee, it damn sure took me long enough to find and add the origin of the first quote...

    Thanx guys.

I guess that round 3 in the bouweenpc.nl competition will be a whole case to modify. But first I have to survive round 2 with my C&C powerplant mod. 6 out of 10 go through.

By page 2 nonetheless. That has to be a record.

Got a batch of defect computer hardware from Computer Service Maastricht, I guess recycling is a good thing, right?

    Disassembled the harddrives.

To give the case a bit more depth, I cut a large hole in the top panel.

And an overlapping panel that is just a bit bigger.

Some harddisk parts form little feet for that panel.

And glued the large panel together on the toppanel.

And now I have a bith more depth and detail.

With a light behind it, it is still good looking IMO.

In the meanwhile, I'm slowly getting the tail parts together, but forming the tail with the loose tiles is a very difficult and slow process, frustrating and tedious.

That's a cool idea for the top panel, looks good and ads a bit more ventilation. Gotta love spare parts lol.
