hey i was wondering if i could have cod4 open on my 22" im getting and msn and shizzle open on a 19" any way with only 1 8800gt?

as long as you can connect both monitors (2 DVI, 1 DVI & 1 VGA adapter, or 2 VGA adapters). the only problem you would run into would be the fact that running your game in full screen would still cause you to have to alt-tab out of the window in order to mouse over to your IM screen. if you had a game that had the option to run in windowed mode (like WoW), you wouldn't have to tab out.

yea... so it is possible without alt tabbing?


i dont mind if i gotta move the mose that extra few inches

i haven't played cod4, but most graphically intense games don't give you the option to run in windowed mode, so no, it most likely wouldn't work with cod4.

If you want it to open in a window, open the properties for the shortcut. add r_fullscreen"1" into the target box after the file location.
