-My father has Martin Cooper on speed dial (Geek points if you know who that is without using Google!) and a picture of himself with Jonathan Frakes and Brent Spiner at the premiere of Qualcomm's Q Phone.

-My circle of friends includes an Australian, a Pole (two with me included), a Norwegian, and an Italian.

-My mother is a direct descendant of the Pilgrims.. or, I should say, one of them..

The only part of the human body that has no blood supply is the cornea. It takes its oxygen directly from the air.

True facts. The build team for my Robotics team at school has the most antics. Usually the web team, programming team, fund raising and management are doing important stuff. haha.

The phrase "the third degree" is commonly used to describe a harsh interrogation such as "boss is giving him the third degree about where he went during lunch". Although there are earlier uses documented, it is mainly known and used today because of of The Free Masons. In becoming a full ranking member of The Masons, you must pass three trials, the 1st degree is called an Entered Apprentice, the 2nd is Fellowcraft, and the 3rd is a Master Mason. Traditionally, the applicant was deeply investigated and mercilessly interrogated before gaining each level of rank.

yep. and thats why you can't wear regular contacts at night. they'll dry out your eyes because the cornea isn't able to take in air.

that also explains why my right eye (the one i wear my contact in) starts to dry out and itch after about 16 hours.
