microsoft outlook

ok ? i have xp pro updated, kaspersky anti-virus updated and microsoft anti-spyware updated on my pc. no once in a blue moon my outlook opens up and tries to setup. never setit up cause i dont use it. The problem is when it does open up it opens up like 20 times. my pc will go for a month without doing it and all of a sudden will do it and not do it again for like a month or two. Any ideas on what could be the problem. Thanks for any advice.

i would jus uninstall it.

yeah, you should be able to uninstall just outlook. As far as why it keeps trying to setup, it is probably due to a scheduled task built into office. It tries to update all the office apps.
