im thinking of doing a mod on bsg, by actually building the galactica. I cant find many good views of it to get some plans drawn, or any dimensions, anyone know where some could be?

what would be the best material to make this out of? id probally make the whole top, and then where the top seperates from the bottom, make those two parts, and have the whole bottom swing out like a door to access computer parts.

Would i make it of foam?

im probably going in way over my head in doing it like boddekkers mod. so i had another idea. please tell me if this is dumb/tacky, because i can see it being such. making a huge very detailed lego bsg.
