So far thats all i have, im looking for insite on what to do with it, i plan on setting up rgb led's like was done on the xps laptop, but id be using alot more of them to contrast the lighting properly. its eventually going to be a water cooled case.

Materials i'll be using Will be 3/8" acrylic and 1/8" aluminum (i already have the edging done up)

and as a last note, sorry about the look, i havent quite figured out 3ds to make a more visually appealing picture

So this will be a scratchbuild then, or are you modding an existing case?

for 3-d modeling, check out google sketchup, and look here for tips and tricks

very easy to use, if you can do CAD then you can definitely do this. Check out my build to see some images, I whipped that up in an hour and a half or so, and it was the first modeling program I've ever used

When I saw the title for this project, I was thinking that you were going to be using 4 way crossfire. I'm guessing from the size and shape of your motherboard in your CAD drawings that this won't be so?

What hardware are you thinking of putting in this baby? Looks real sweet from the CAD drawings, cant wait to see the final thing.

2 HIS 4870x2's, watercooled, currently an am2+ 9950x4 @ 3.2+ depending on if the clocks are able to go up with added cooling. and an m3a-32 (until am3 is out) ive got everything in my computer specs.

In my plexi scratchbuild, I used 1 1/2" rod for the corners and machined grooves from the bottom almost to the top, then slid the side panels in from the bottom. When they are in place they look permanently installed, but you can slide it to the side of your desk and drop them right out.
