    Default uchannel & window channeling

I noticed a lot of people use uchannel and window channeling on their custom mods.

Both of the channeling is around 3mm thick.

My possibly stupid question is that all my bars and sheets are around 1.5mm thick. Wouldn't this be a bit sloppy or should I have bought a thicker sheet for my case sides? I think I'm just getting confused as to what measurments they are talking about. As they said the inner dimensions was 3mm, they may have been talking about the inner depth and not the inner height.

Also would this be useful as a vibration dampener for the power supply or fans?

it depends on the u channel you are using .. got pics or a link.. i have 3 types .. one is a rubber grommet with a seal. the other two are u channel plastic/rubbery stuff with glue on the inside .. i got one from canadian tire adn the other from frozen cpu..

so you want to use it to do the edging on your side panel.. should work fine.. lol but some pix would help.. why not test fit it ?

a bit more info would be nice thnx..
