there are different ways of dealing with spammers and each mod/admin has their own method of choice, it really just depends on who got to it first.

could I make a suggestion ... that this thread gets emptied out except for the first post explaining that this is where you report spam (I already edited my original question in that post).
Then there will be one page .. a new spammer gets reported ... mod/admin deals with it and deletes the post reporting the spammer.
Otherwise, eventually, this thread will be horribly long.
