    is it even possible? and how much would a Mac OS cost?

    it is possible if the HDD is Mac OS compatible, it will be fairly expensive to buy a mac os install off the apple website, but if you have a friend with a macintosh already they come with all the disks necessary to load it, but i dont think it will recognize a PC processor, hmm ill give it a try for you if you would like, i have all the necessary things at home. Maxtor HDD come Mac os x compatible, and i would load tiger because that is your best bet as far as compatibility because its the most diverse of the mac os's. i say give it a try or i can give it a try for you. i love the mac os myself, its a great thing. what's your comp set up you will be running?
