Still realizes he has the Aquamark install sitting on his desktop, been there for a few months..

    So installs...

    ..

    Runs...

    Aquamark: (vista)

    My Latest 3DMark06: (vista)
13688 - 3Dmark reads my GTX clocks amazingly wrong!

I really need to try more at clocking this, No idea what people get in Aquamark with Q6600s and 8800GTXs...

I might tweak a bit and see if i can push anything else out of it. Its only at 3.2GHz now the 3DMark was at 3.5GHz or something like that. And i'm not sure on my GTX clocks.

Just to try show me up eh?

    OK so after some tweaking.

A 8800GTX now sits at 660MHZ Core. 1500MHz Shaders, 2GHz memory If i hit 666MHz core, it artifacts! Not before atall, but hit 666 and it's doomed.
I upped my CPU a little for this, but it's still a bum that doesn't like clocking up.

So Aquamark from 164,222 to a nice new.

    ...

    180,742

    And 3DMark from 13688.

    Too...

    14077 Happy i finally broke 14k.

Again both on Vista. Even though i took off the theme it still makes a difference over XP. So add a few million and it'll be close lol

do you have xp scotty? it should give some more points.

and what cooling do you have on the GTX? you might get some better scores with better cooling. though i would imagine you already replaced the TIM.

Yes i have XP. And no im not going through partitioning my drives again, it just screws them up. Every. Single. Time.

GTX is watercooled MX-2 TIM. Its an A1 revision of the chip i do believe, could be wrong it maybe an A2, but wither way that's a mighty fine clock for an A2. Good few hundread MHz above a superclocked Ultra.

since i've done it with my 8600GT with success i would do it to any card, i might wait a bit but i would still do it i think, for sure a pencil mod and if i can get a hold of some pot style VR's than maybe solder it on.

8600GT = £100 if that. Mines at least triple the cost...

Im not risking anything, its fine for now.
