all aquamark does is test your system and give you a score right? if i run it it won't push it past any kind of limits will it?

basically is it safe to run on a crappy computer and it won't screw up the system?


EDIT: i downloaded the freeware version and tried it and once its completed the last test it closes the program. any ideas why?

Hmm i also have a problem. It wont work on Vista. I opened it right and it says windows has found a problem do you want to sent? then closes. When i was running XP it worked fine. Any idea's?

Make sure you're running it as Administrator

As for 3dmark06, I get 9751

This was my first run...

I actually had a 0.3 frame-rate at one point.

But, then again, it's not exactly an overwhelmingly specced PC. (Family Box.)
AMD Sempron 2800+
192MB RAM
Win XP Home.

Just hit past 13,000 with onboard graphics and the RAM in 4-4-4-12.

Specs again:

Intel Pentium D 915 Presler OCed to 3.0 GHz
pqi Turbo DDR2 667 OCed to 4-4-4-12 at 2V.
ASUS P5L-MX MicroATX motherboard with Intel 945 G Express chipset and Viiv
Western Digital Caviar SATA II 80 GB HDD
Rosewill 550 watt PSU

94,318 on my rig. Pretty soon I will probably be OC'ing and adding another 8800 GTS in SLI. I think it was like 14k on GPU and 10k on CPU.

I ran Aquamark again with my newly OC'd system, and my CPU scored 17,530.

i got round 90.000 but i cant make a screenshot cuz aquamark wont start up anymore ???
