Default A personified character of Death

I'm much better with an actual pencil than I am with a mouse in MS Paint and GIMP. lol
People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People’s heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool.

    Thanks for the compliment DT!

It still needs a bit of work. I need to give it a hand, do some shading and revise its overly-buff looking shoulder. (what skeleton do you know has chuck norris biceps? lol)

Hands are pretty tricky to draw. I spent a good half an hour trying to figure it out, looking at pictures of skeletons for a guide, but I ended up just erasing the attempt and leaving shadowy guidelines for when I try again.

You should read "On A Pale Horse" by Piers Anthony.. the story of death personified.

Interesting but possibly stupid thought: You could just leave it buff and make it as though the skeleton is the only thing you see and the rest of the body is made up of invisible energy.

Great job, by the way. I agree with whoever said you need a Wacom Tablet, go get one and see what you can do, lol.

Which of these three is the best do you guys think? Also, if there is a lime green tablet that exists somewhere out there, then I'm SOLD. I sort of have a thing for bright green things. lol

    Wacom Small Bamboo (6x4)

    Wacom Small Bamboo Fun (6x4)

    Genius Ultra-thin (6x10)

I'm sort of leaning toward the Genius. Wacom is MUCH more of a trusted brand I know, but it has pretty decent reviews, a larger work space, its "ultra-thin" and over-all seems like the better device.

Question: Pressure level sensitivity is related to the pen not the tablet right? Then the lpi is related to the tablet itself? or is that wrong?

Brilliant drawing. I think the sleeve of Death's robe is my favorite bit. There's something to be said for pen/pencil rather than a tablet - the sensation's unbeatable.

No.. no.. do not get a genius. Wacom is the way to go. I had a genius and it was horrible. Horrible sensitivity, felt cheap, and was just bad. So go with Wacom, it's worth the extra money. Though, I had a cheaper one, so maybe they have improved since then, and the one your thinking of getting is better. But my experience with the one I bought wasn't good.

I think I'm going to go with the Bamboo. There doesn't seem to be any benefits by going with the "Fun" version. Now to try and save up some money. lol This might take awhile.

Concerning the drawing, I'm thinking about replacing the orb with a Skull. Thought that would be pretty cool maybe.
