Now for the weird to begin.

I knew this project wouldn't run smooth.....

The extra 2GB of RAM arrived

I have an Abit IC7-G board that I know can easily handle 3GB of RAM. Here's how I have them configured.

I put it in and my BIOS recognized it, but this is far as it would boot????

Maybe I should have the RAM inter-mixed and that would work? I don't know, but I will try later.


And somehow my Compu-Nurse stopped working

I changed the configuration so that the RAM is mixed.

And it worked!

Hopefully, one of my Blu-Ray drives will be here soon.....

I added the Pioneer Blu-Ray Drive and attached it with screws

Next up, I stealth the Blu-Ray drive!

I cut away the right size of sheet metal

Then painted it to match

Next up, I put foam tape on the drive door so that the stealth cover will only grasp the door

I then stuck the cover to the door

Looks like I have to lighten the cover a bit.

Thus far...

I'm still waiting for an extra long SATA cable for my Blu-Ray drive. My Mod is nearly done except for a little lighting show! Inside and out are on the way.

I made it a bit lighter. It's actually pretty damn hard to get the color just right.

I bought a NEW white keyboard. Let me tell you, white is a very HARD color to find that's not for an Apple. The one I found has backlit keys. I'm buying the mouse tomorrow. It's for a laptop, but it already the right color!

I'm going to paint the arrowed sections the same exact color as R2, except I ran out....so I'll get some soon.
