    Cheers.

    What you can't really see:

Underneath the Volvo logo on the front quarterpanels are prancing moose stickers.

Like the Lamborghini logo, except with a moose.

Actually, the shield is like the Lambo logo, and the moose is like the Ferarri logo. Except it's a moose.

Good eye. 54 indeed, its still got the Blue Flame 235 straight six. And it's a Powerglide, standard on the Bel Air for that year.

But I can't drive it until I fix the carburetor.

Anyone ever driven something with a one-barrel carburetor?

Can you actually spell carburetor without looking at this post or a dictionary?

Paul, we used to have a top of the line 2001 pathfinder and it was awesome. modest styling, built like a tank, amazingly comfortable, etc.

we got it after my mum sold her '93 pathfinder, which was also a good car, but the interior was cloth and the styling was, well, derived from a cardboard box.

edit: oh and I think they took the good points of the 1st and 2nd gen pathfinders and threw them out the window for the 3rd gen. the 3rd gens look more like super ugly minivans with long hoods. also they're closer to the ground which means off-roading will be the suck.

Yeah the '01-07 Pathys have the VQ35DE engine, same as the Infinity G series and Maxima--great engine. Before that, the engines were way under powered. Don't like the new Pathfinders, would love an Xterra tho

Nissan put the VQ35DE in a lot of cars. The pathy, Infinity Gs, Maxima, 350z, etc etc. I think it was like 8 cars.

It's a good engine, too. high displacement v6 with tons of grunt, works just as good at hauling lumber as hauling ass.

Even in n/a form, the 350z is one of my favorite performance cars and it's that stonking great engine that helps it make good power.

I think I'm gonna have to go break in the Durango now, especially after seeing the boss's pic.
