Default Desktop sat for a few months, not boot failure?

I haven't began any diagnostic what-so-ever, I was just wondering why it would suddenly fail?

I've picked prehistoric PC's out of garages that sat for years and at most I had to replace the CMOS battery. This desktop has been sitting for maybe 3 months max and is only a couple years old.

The reason I haven't began working on it is because It's on a rack that is a pain in the *** to work with and I only wanted to listen to music on it through the z5500's while I worked out.

EDIT: Typo in the title lol. "NOW" not "NOT."

I pulled it off it's rack and hooked it back up... booted. It immediately dawned on me that it was a little too close to the Z5500's sub. I guess 3' isn't far enough.

I moved the desktop to the opposite end of the desk and all is well.

Unfortunately, yes. No harm done though I don't think.
